State House candidate Clint Bedsole announced today that he has been endorsed by conservative Denton County Commissioner Hugh Coleman. Bedsole is seeking election to the open seat in State House District 106 in Denton County, which includes the cities of Aubrey, The Colony, Hackberry, Hebron, Krugerville, Lakewood Village, Lincoln Park, Little Elm, Oak Point, Pilot Point, Providence Village, and Sanger.

“I’m proud to endorse Clint. He’s the only candidate I trust to cut taxes and fix our broken school finance system,” Coleman said. “Clint is a successful small business owner, a military veteran, a Christian, and a strong conservative. Those are the values we need. I encourage Denton County voters to join me in supporting him.”

Hugh Coleman is known as a taxpayer champion and for promoting transparent government. He is the first Denton County official to post his campaign reports online. Coleman appointed Bedsole to be a conservative voice on the Denton County Civil Service Board.

Bedsole led the charge for transparency and lower electric rates as an elected member of the CoServ Board. Bedsole is known for his work getting Frisco’s power transmission lines buried rather than leaving them above ground. An entrepreneur and small business owner, Bedsole has seen how important it is to cut taxes, support our schools, and protect private property rights.

“I’m honored to be endorsed by Hugh,” Bedsole said. “He is a great leader in our community, fighting for low taxes and responsible spending.”

Bedsole is a retired Army Reservist, 100% pro-life, and a lifetime member of the NRA. Bedsole, his wife Gina, and their three children are active members of St. Phillips Episcopal Church, where Clint leads the men’s ministry.
